In a landmark expansion for global dance music, the giant brand Tomorrowland has officially confirmed it will host its first-ever full-scale Asian festival in Thailand from December 11–13, 2026. The event will take place at Wisdom Valley in Pattaya, a 560-acre site chosen for its natural landscape of hills and open vistas. Organizers expect to welcome over 50,000 attendees per day, with the Thai government projecting the five-year hosting agreement will generate at least 21 billion baht ($673M) for the local economy.
The festival will feature six spectacular stages, including the debut of the iconic CORE and FREEDOM stages in Asia. On January 7, 2026, Tomorrowland also unveiled 'Consciencia' as the official global theme for the year—a multi-continent narrative that will link its festivals in Belgium, Thailand, and Brazil through a shared creative universe. While the event will not feature the traditional DreamVille camping, a series of "Discover Thailand" hotel packages with shuttles will be available starting February 28, 2026, ahead of the worldwide ticket sale on March 7.
Two Decades of Making Magic: The Story of Tomorrowland
Founded in 2005 by Belgian brothers Manu and Michiel Beers, Tomorrowland began as a humble one-day gathering in Boom, Belgium, with just 9,000 visitors. Driven by a vision of "Unity, Love, and Magic," the brothers transformed the event into the world’s most recognized EDM brand. Today, the flagship Belgian edition spans two weekends and attracts 400,000 people from nearly every country on Earth. The Beers brothers have remained independent owners of the brand, expanding their empire to include a winter edition in the French Alps and a major satellite festival in Brazil.
What sets Tomorrowland apart is its commitment to high-concept storytelling. Each year, the festival crafts a detailed "book" and theme—such as 'The Book of Wisdom' or 'Adscendo'—which dictates everything from the stage design to the on-site performers' costumes. This attention to detail has earned the festival the title of "Best Musical Event" at the International Dance Music Awards for five consecutive years. With the move into Thailand, the Beers brothers continue to redefine the boundaries of live entertainment, bringing their signature "fairy-tale reality" to a new continent while honoring the rich cultural heritage of their host nation.
