Universal Music Group (UMG), through its UMusic Hospitality & Lifestyle division, has announced the opening of two new UMusic Shop locations in key music hubs: New York and London. Both locations are thought to offer fans dedicated spaces to purchase exclusive merchandise and unique artist-inspired collections from their artists, many of which have shaped the sound of music as a whole across entire decades.

The UMusic Shop NY opened on Wednesday, December 10, marking UMG’s first permanent brick-and-mortar retail spot in North America. Located at 2 Penn Plaza, adjacent to Madison Square Garden, the store features a wide selection of vinyl and merchandise from artists including Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, Elton John, and The Rolling Stones. To celebrate its opening, the New York location has partnered with Awake NY on an exclusive "Music Is Universal" capsule collection. As a celebration of the opening, the shop also hosted fan-driven pop-ups this week, honoring Neil Diamond and Republic Records artist Conan Gray.

The UMusic Shop Camden is schedule for launch next Tuesday, December 16, deep within London’s Camden Market. Creating a buzz equal to NYC's, this shop will feature exclusive artist collections, installations, and live performances. It will also house a Vinyl Lounge, a DJ booth, and a recording studio-inspired Sound Room, which will offer visitants an even more hands-in take towards music.

Susan Mazo, EVP & Chief Impact Officer at Universal Music Group, emphasized that the launch further expands UMG’s commitment to connecting artists and fans through exclusive experiences, merchandise, and bespoke collections. The new locations build upon earlier UMusic Shop launches in Madrid and Tokyo's Harajuku district.
