Singers Behind KPop Demon Hunters' HUNTR/X Hint At Real-Life Collaboration

The vocalists behind the fictional girl group HUNTR/X from the hit animated Netflix film, KPop Demon Hunters, may be teaming up for original music, after one of the singers made an accidental slip at the Jingle Ball red carpet.
Billboard's Hannah Dailey reports that during a live interview with their team, singers EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and REI AMI were asked if fans could expect music from the trio as a real-life group. EJAE began to reply, "The three of us? Of cou-", before stopping mid-phrase. Though she quickly changed her answer to "Who knows? We’d love to", the near-confirmation sparked celebration on the red carpet. Nuna playfully followed with “We should get in the studio guys, after this, tonight”.
The three singers have become global stars thanks to their recording of 'Golden' for the film, which spent eight weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and finished at No. 10 on the year-end Billboard Global 200 chart. The singers attended iHeartRadio’s 2025 Jingle Ball event in Los Angeles, where REI AMI expressed gratitude for the track's massive cultural impact, calling it "a dream come true".
And far from being just a one-hit-wonder situation, it's expected that the three artists keep their Midas touch alive by expanding their discography outside of Kpop Demon Hunters. Their various contributions to the film's soundtrack have made the rounds worldwide, even out of the charts and into general culture itself.
